We are proud to have been in business in our hometown of Dunn, NC for more than 30 continuous years serving our local customers as well as customers throughout our great state.
We once had a customer to drive all the way from Murphy, NC directly to our store to conduct business. That same week, we had a customer to drive all the way from Manteo, NC directly to our store to do business. Murphy to Manteo as the slogan goes. We are blessed to have been sought out from one end of the state to the other.
About us and what we offer
There are many gun stores or gun shops as some are called. Don't confuse us as a "pawn shop", because we are not.
Our store, we feel, is unique in a manner not often found. We are indeed a mom and pop style store that the owners, Dwight and Crystal, take a great amount of pride in. We value our customers and the service we strive to provide is a must. Built from scratch with a lot of hard work starting in 1989, we have gone through many changes, as any business would during that amount of time. We have evolved. Our latest part of that evolution is that we have dedicated part of our store to a museum of sorts. The museum portion is absolutely FREE. Our museum portion has on display over 400 firearms, curios, relics and artifacts. If you like firearms and world history, you'll like what you see at our store. It's all free and we cordially invite you to come in, say hello, and browse our displays. If you have questions, feel free to ask and we'll try to give you a proper answer.
Of course, we can't do this without continuing a full working gun store so we continuously supply and inventory what our market asks for.
Some of what we offer to our customers continues to be:
Sales of firearms, new and used. We buy and trade also. Consignment guns are always welcome. Let us sell your guns for you. We are please to provide special-order services as well.
We offer a full range of gunsmith services, ranging from general inspections, cleaning, repair and refinishing.
We offer an expert service of appraising your firearms, whether it be a single or a collection.
We provide a concealed carry class (our store was awarded "Best class in Harnett County" for 2019).
We are one of the oldest "class 3" dealers in the state of NC, having maintained that special license for 30 continuous years. This of course enables us to lawfully conduct sales of NFA items including machine guns, silencers, and short-barreled firearms.
We continue, to this day, to be good at what we do.
